About us
tikitna is a Jordanian platform for booking and selling event tickets — concerts, stand-up comedy, theatre, workshops and conferences, in Amman and across Jordan. We're after two things: make buying a ticket the easiest part of your day, and make running an event and its door the easiest part of an organizer's month.
Why we built it
Booking a ticket in Jordan still often means a WhatsApp message, a bank transfer, and a list of names at the door. That works — right up until a hundred people show up, two of them share a name, two more already paid, and one wants a refund. tikitna closes that whole gap: the ticket is issued electronically, it scans exactly once, and every dinar is accounted for.
Why tikitna
- An e-ticket with no app — it arrives by email with a QR code ready to show at the door, on your phone or printed, your call.
- A real hall map — organizers draw their own hall, and buyers see all of it and pick exactly where to sit: a single seat or a whole table.
- A door scanner that survives the wifi — it runs in the browser and keeps working when the venue connection drops at the worst possible moment, and it does.
- Secure online payment — handled on a secured page belonging to an established payment provider, with the methods open to you shown before you confirm. Your card details never touch our servers.
- Every ticket scans exactly once — try the same code twice and the scanner refuses it, which is precisely what guarantees your own entry.
- Clear pricing — you see the ticket price and the service fee as separate lines before you pay, and organizers know their share before they publish. No surprises at the bottom of the page.
For everyone booking
You don't need an account. Pick your event, pick your seat, enter your name, number and email, and pay — the ticket is in your inbox before you close the tab. Lost it? Enter your mobile number on the My tickets page and we'll send it again. Passing it to someone else? Transfer it to their name and the old code stops working immediately.
For organizers
List your events, draw your hall, set your tiers and prices (with an early-bird rate if you want one), and sell. Follow sales and attendance live, download the door list before the night, and scan at the door from your phone's browser. Listing is free — and you only pay commission when you actually sell.
A curated platform
We are not an open marketplace. We review every organizer before they can publish and sell, so that anyone booking through tikitna knows there is a real, identified party behind the event. A review usually takes one working day.
